Recently I've worked with Good Charlotte, Ashlee Simpson, Story of the Year, Mandy Moore, the Used, and I'm currently finishing an album for a new band named City Sleeps. However, I'm not writing this to tell you what I've been doing, instead I wanted to say how much I enjoy using the Sony Oxford plug-ins. The Oxford line of plug-ins simply stated, sound great. For starters, the Oxford EQ is one of the few EQ plug-ins that I'll use in a mix. Most digital EQs can't quite muster the sound that I'm looking for. The Oxfords have yet to fail me in this department. From vocals to drums, this plug-in does exactly what I need it to do. Besides the EQ being flawless, the dynamics section is equally top notch. The dynamics section has such a wide range of sounds from gentle compression to full on limiting. My favorite part about the dynamics plug-in is the classic compressor setting. I really love the way it fattens up the sound of my guitars.
